MEET OUR TEAM

The staff at Lubbock Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We have many collective years of service to the Lubbock area. Our nurses make patients feel welcome and appreciated and are highly trained in dermatology care. Everyone in our office -- including receptionists, accounts specialists, billing specialists, office manager, technicians and other personnel -- is here to make sure your visit runs smoothly.

Lisa Aguilar

Lisa Aguilar is a Front Office Manager and Check Out Clerk that has been on the team since 2015. She earned her Medical Office Specialist certificate from Kaplan College in 2008. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Rena Alvarado

Rena Alvarado is one of our LVN’s who has been with Lubbock Dermatology for 18 years. She earned her LVN certificate at South Plains College. She is fun-loving and always a joy to have in the office!

Zach Bean

Zach Bean is our Practice Administrator and has worked with us since 2012. He earned his undergraduate degree in Management from Texas Tech University. Additionally, he earned his Masters in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio. Prior to working as our administrator, Zach worked at Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas, Texas. He manages other practices in town and co-owns a healthcare consulting company.

Lexi Bernal

Lexi Bernal Is an Insurance Adjuster and has been on the team since 2018. She is a fun-loving person and great addition to Lubbock Dermatology. She attended South Plains College.

Jimmie Bradley

Jimmie Bradley is one of our two Histology Technicians and has been with us for 20 years now. She is always a friendly face around the office and just loves to have fun!

Chris Brown

Chris Brown has been our Account Manager for 19 years now. She majored in accounting at Texas Tech University and loves spending time with her grandchildren.

Catherine Canales

Catherine Canales is a Medical Assistant that we are happy to have back with us after she was gone for a short while. She earned her Medical Assistant certification at American Commercial College. She loves taking care of patients and laughing all the time!

Amy Ehlo

Amy Ehlo is a Medical Assistant that works with our Physicians and Nurse Practitioners for 1 month. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends!

Miranda Franklin

Miranda Franklin Is one of the Medical Assistants for us and has been here since 2018. She earned her Medical Assistant certificate from the ROC Program in Bakersfield, CA.lexi She enjoys cooking out and spending time with friends and family.

Esmeralda "Esmie" Gomez

Esmie Gomez has been with Lubbock Dermatology for 7 months and is one of our Front Desk Representatives. She loves to dance, listen to music and make people smile!

Gina Hancock

Gina Hancock is another Nurse and has been with us for 18 years! She enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.

Crystal Huron

Crystal Huron is one of our qualified phone operators who has been with Lubbock Dermatology for 1 year. She is unbelievably friendly and loves sports!

Amber Jimenez

Amber Jimenez is one of our Insurance Adjusters and has been with Lubbock Dermatology since 2017. She is a graduate of Plainview High School She loves going to the gym and traveling!

Shanda McNabb

Shanda McNabb is our other Histology Technician and has been with us for 12 years. She earned her Histology certificate from the ASCP. She loves her work and the people that she does it with!

Angie Palacios

Angie Palacios is a Medical Assistant that has worked at Lubbock Dermatology for 12 years. She enjoys spending time with her family and grand babies!

Cynthia Perez

Cynthia Perez is one of our front office staff members that has been with us since 2010. Everyone is sure to meet here because she is the Check-Out Receptionist, and she is a huge Texas Rangers fan who spend much time at the baseball/softball fields with her family..

Amanda Robertson, LVN

Amanda Robertson, LVN is a Licensed Vocational Nurse who earned her certificate at South Plains in Plainview in 2001. She has been with our team for 17 years now, and is always a joy to have at work and loves her job.

Kaylin Salinas

Kaylin Salinas is another L.V.N. who joined our team in 2018. She earned her LVN certificate at South Plains College.

Leticia Valenzuela

Leticia Valenzuela is one of our Receptionists and has been at Lubbock Dermatology for 1 year. She loves meeting new people and cooking!

Liz Vera

Liz Vera has worked with the Lubbock Dermatology team as an L.V.N for the past eight years. She earned her LVN certificate at South Plains College in 2003. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Latisha "Tish" Weber

Latisha “Tish” Weber is one of our qualified Nurses that has been with Lubbock Dermatology for 23 years now! She earned her Surgical Technologist certificate from South Plains College. She loves to talk with everyone and cook when she can.

Angela Whisner

Angela Whisner is a Medical Biller who has been with Lubbock Dermatology since March 2018. She enjoys spending time outdoors and with her children!

At Lubbock Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center, we provide comprehensive dermatology care that includes diagnosis and treatment of common as well as uncommon skin conditions. We see patients of all ages including infants, children, teenagers, adults, and the elderly.
