William David Boothe, MD, JR
Dr.
William “David” Boothe, Jr., a native of West Texas from Lubbock, values
friends, family, and faith. He met his wife, Kandis, in medical school; they
are now married and have returned to Lubbock to practice and enjoy life there.
He earned a Civil Engineering degree
from Texas A&M University before shifting to medicine, inspired by work on
a medical center project. He received his MD from Texas Tech University Health
Sciences Center in 2017, followed by an Internal Medicine internship in
Billings, Montana (2018).
His passion for dermatology sparked at
Lubbock’s Impact Clinic during medical school, deepened by research at Dell
Seton/UT Austin. He completed his Dermatology residency at Texas Tech in
Lubbock (2022). He then joined his wife in Tucson, Arizona, practicing at
Associated Dermatology for three years before returning to Lubbock.
Dr. Boothe is board-certified in
dermatology and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Texas Medical
Association, American Medical Association, and Lubbock Medical Society. He
volunteers at Lubbock’s Impact Clinic for the uninsured.
His specialties include skin cancer
treatment with Mohs surgery and reconstruction, plus general dermatology
conditions like acne, psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, autoimmune skin disorders,
and infections.
He is grateful to serve the Lubbock
community again.
